Glock has appendix removed

Virgin Racing’s Timo Glock could be forced to miss the final pre-season Formula One test after undergoing an emergency appendectomy.

Glock, who was taken ill in the early hours of yesterday morning, is currently recovering in a hospital in Switzerland.
