Hamed hit with driving fine

Former world boxing champion Naseem Hamed was today fined more than £1,000 (€1,180) after pleading guilty to driving offences after he drove following a lengthy ban without re-taking his test first.
The former WBA world featherweight champion was jailed in 2006 for 15 months and disqualified from driving for four years after a crash which left another man with fractures to “every major bone in his body”.
