Klitschko withdrawal shatters Chisora dream

Dereck Chisora’s dream of becoming a world heavyweight champion is over for now after Wladimir Klitschko pulled out of his WBO and IBF title defence with a back injury.

The pair were due to meet on Saturday in Mannheim but the Ukrainian has withdrawn from the bout after succumbing to a back problem – described as both a tear and a pulled muscle by respective camps – in the build-up to the fight.
