Theissen to quit BMW

BMW Motorsport boss Mario Theissen has confirmed he will step down from the role next year.

Theissen, who headed up BMW’s stint as a Formula One constructor between 2006 and 2009, will be replaced by Jens Marquardt on June 30 2011, with the pair working in a dual capacity for six months up to that date.
