Third Nigerian fails Games drugs test

Nigeria’s Folashade Abugan has been stripped of her 400metres silver medal at the Commonwealth Games after failing a drugs test, it was announced today.

Abugan becomes the third Nigerian to fail a drugs test at the Delhi event after 110m hurdler Samuel Okon and Damola Osayemi, who claimed gold in the women’s 100m.
