Liverpool FC sale to NESV approved last night, lawyer reveals

Lord Grabiner QC, representing the Liverpool companies in the British High Court today, has revealed that the board last night approved the sale of the club to NESV by three votes to two.

Mr Hicks and Mr Gillett voted against the deal and were now calling on the Dallas court to jail directors and lawyers at the board meeting for contempt of the US court.
