Raff Cretaro scored twice to ease the gloom around Dalymount Park and move the cash-strapped champions back up to third place in the table.

The diminutive Sligo striker deservedly gave Bohs the lead on 32 minutes when latching onto Ken Oman’s long headed clearance to outfox the Bray defence and drill his shot past Matt Gregg.

Bray enjoyed their best spell early in the second-half with Derek Prendergast heading over the bar while Chris O’Connor saved well from Jake Kelly.

Cretaro had a shout for a penalty waved away on 80 minutes before sealing Bohs’ win four minutes later.

Jason Byrne backheeled Gareth McGlynn’s pass and Cretaro's shot took a deflection to loop over Gregg.
