Athletes gather in Dublin for European Transplant and Dialysis Games
More than 350 athletes from around the world are gathering in Dublin today for the sixth European Transplant and Dialysis Games.
It is Ireland's first time to host the event, which kicks off this evening, with 71 Irish athletes taking part.
Every athlete has had at least one transplant of a kidney, liver, heart, pancreas, lungs or bone marrow, or they are currently receiving dialysis treatment.
