Derval O'Rourke has won a silver medal for Ireland in the women's 100m hurdles at the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona.

The 29-year-old Cork athlete clocked a time of 12.65 in tonight's final, a new Irish record and just two-hundreths of a second behind winner Nevin Yanit of Turkey.
