Irish women fail to qualify for 400m hurdles final

Three Irish athletes failed to qualify for the finals of the Women’s 400m hurdles event at the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona today.

Michelle Carey came the closest in Heat 2, finishing fifth in a time of 57.58 seconds, a season's best.
