Rocket saw Selby loss coming

Ronnie O’Sullivan was resigned to defeat by Mark Selby in the Betfred.com World Championship quarter-finals long before his exit was confirmed.

The red-hot favourite had led 9-5 but blew that advantage as Selby came back to win 13-11, battling back from a perilous position just as he did in the finals of the 2008 Welsh Open and this year’s Masters, when O’Sullivan had victory in his sights on both occasions.
