Davis struggles in opening session

Steve Davis could find none of the old magic which had carried him past John Higgins as he crumbled in the first session of his Crucible quarter-final against Neil Robertson today.

The 52-year-old has not reached a semi-final at the Betfred.com World Championship since 1994, but by knocking out last year's winner Higgins he put himself one win away this time.
