Virgin to increase fuel tank capacity

Virgin Racing have confirmed their fuel tank is not large enough to hold enough petrol to complete an entire race and have been granted permission to make the necessary changes to the chassis.

With in-race refuelling banned this year, cars need to last a whole race on one tank of petrol and while changing the chassis is not normally allowed during the course of a season, the FIA have given the go-ahead for Virgin to increase the size of their tank.
