Disappointment for Gillick in 400m final

David Gillick could not secure a medal in the final of the Men’s 400m event at the World Indoor Athletics finals in Doha today.

The Irish athlete finished fifth in a time of 46.62 seconds.

He finished 0.66 seconds behind the winner, Chris Brown of Jamaica, who crossed the line in 45.96 seconds.
