Button did not make way for Schumacher, says Brawn

Ross Brawn is adamant Jenson Button was not shown the door by Mercedes in order to usher in close friend Michael Schumacher.

Forty-eight hours after Mercedes had completed a takeover of this year's world champions Brawn GP last month, McLaren confirmed they had signed Button to partner Lewis Hamilton.
