No Adebayor appeal over violent conduct charge

Emmanuel Adebayor will miss the Manchester derby after not appealing the violent conduct charge lodged against him by the Football Association.

Adebayor had until 6pm to respond to the charge and in accepting it, has effectively condemned himself to a three-match ban.
