Ireland adaptive rowers have battled to a strong victory in a B Final at the World Rowing Championships in Poland today.

Ireland adaptive rowers have battled to a strong victory in a B Final at the World Rowing Championships in Poland today.

The legs, trunk and arms mixed coxed four beat the United States into second place after a gripping battle between these two strong teams and ahead of Russia, France and Poland.

The win places Ireland's crew of Emer Patten, Shane Ryan, Kevin du Toit, Sarah Caffrey along with cox Amy Judge seventh in the world.

In the trunk and arms double scull Vincent Culhane and Karen Cromie finished fourth in their B Final.
