Eight killed in new wave of car bombings

Afghan officials say that at least eight people have been killed in a huge blast in the southern city of Kandahar that was caused by five car bombs strung together.

A doctor at Kandahar’s main hospital says the hospital has received eight dead bodies and 13 people wounded in the blast.
