Vettel signs contract extension with Red Bull

Sebastien Vettel has signed a contract extension with the Red Bull Formula One team.

The new deal keeps the 22-year-old German with the British-based team until the end of the 2011 season, with an option for a further year.

Vettel has already won three grands prix since his F1 debut in 2007.

He currently lies third in the 2009 Drivers' Championship, 23 points adrift of leader Jenson Button.
