Gay underlines threat to Bolt

Tyson Gay sent another warning to Usain Bolt that he has the credentials to defend his 100 metres world title with another stunning performance tonight.

Gay took full advantage of an over-the-limit wind of 2.6 metres to blow away a field which included former world record holder Asafa Powell in a time of 9.79 seconds.
