Ireland's Paul Hession has won the 200 metres event at the Golden Spike meeting in the Czech Republic.

The Athenry man edged out Zimbabwe's Brian Dzsingai by one-hundredth of a second to win the race last night in a time of 20.44 seconds.

An hour later, he also finished third in the 'B' 100 metres race with a seasonal best time of 10.34 seconds, with Dzsingai claiming the win.
