Late goals from Ken Oman and topscorer Jason Byrne eased champions Bohemians three points clear at the top of the table.

Galway battled away to keep Bohs scoreless until the 72nd minute when defender Oman met Paul Keegan’s corner to head past Barry Ryan.

Byrne then sealed the win with his 13th goal of the campaign a minute from time, slotting home a penalty after Glen Cronin was fouled inside the area
