Charleville man wins Cork City Marathon
A Cork man has won this year's Cork City marathon.
Michael Herlihy, 28, from Charleville, was the first athlete to cross the finishing line on St Patrick's Street in a time of 2:30:36.
Hundreds of charities are set to benefit from today's race.
Race Diector of the Cork City Marathon, Jim O Donovan, told Cork's Red FM that many charities including the Irish Cancer Society will get a funding boost from today's race.
