Fagan joins field for Central Park race

Irish Olympian Martin Fagan will join a world-class field in New York on May 16 for the Healthy Kidney 10K road race in Central Park, organisers announced on Tuesday.

Patrick Makau of Kenya will defend his title while New York Road Runners president and CEO Mary Wittenberg also announced as entrants two-time ING New York City Marathon champion Marilson Gomes dos Santos of Brazil, and US Olympians Abdi Abdirahman and Anthony Famiglietti.
