Allen tied 4-4 with O’Sullivan in Sheffield
Mark Allen will be hoping he can continue to hold his own against Ronnie O'Sullivan when they resume their second-round match at the World Snooker Championship this afternoon.
The Ulsterman is tied 4-4 with the defending champion after the first session.
Elsewhere, Stephen Hendry and Ding Junhui are on the same scoreline as they resume in the morning session, with Nigel Bond also due to begin his second-round match against Ryan Day.
Shaun Murphy and Marco Fu will be in action in the afternoon.
The last of the second round berths was filled last night when Stephen Maguire beat practice partner Jamie Burnett 10-5.
