Dunne lands world title

Bernard Dunne is the new WBA super-bantamweight champion after he stunned Ricardo Cordoba with an 11th-round knockout tonight.

The 29-year-old from Co. Dublin was the underdog going into the fight at the O2 Arena in the Republic’s capital.
