Dunne hoping to secure Super Bantam-weight title
A world title fight will come to Irish soil for the first time in 13 years this evening as Neilstown's Bernard Dunne takes on Panama's Ricardo Cordoba for the WBA Super Bantam-weight title.
It is Cordoba's first defence of the title and Dunne has said it is the opportunity every boxer dreams of.
Dunne goes in as underdog and has said he does not have the same pressure on his shoulders which weighed him down on past occasions.
Dunne said he is expecting the fight to go the distance, but has dismissed worries surrounding his punching power and weakness with his hands.
