McGettigan fails to secure medal

Ireland's Roisin McGettigan just missed out on a medal in the 1500 final at the Europan Indoors in Turin.

She was fourth, just outside her lifetime best in a time of 4:11.58, pipped by Slovakia's Sonja Roman at the finish.

Favourite Russia's Anna Alminova won gold with 4:07.76.
