Mayweather Sr: Hatton will knock out Pacquiao

Ricky Hatton is likely to knock Manny Pacquiao out when the pair meet in the ring in May, according to the Manchester fighter’s coach, Floyd Mayweather Senior.

The two will vie for the title of the the world’s best pound-for-pound fighter when they meet in a light welterweight fight on Saturday, May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather said: “I’ve got the best fighter and I am the best trainer. That’s the reason (he’ll win) right there. I am the best and he is the best.

“Everything is mapped out. Ricky is trying to be nice, but it’s a simple fact that we gonna bust his a** up. Simple as that. We gonna whup his a**.

"I am going to be honest with you. I think Ricky has a very very good chance of knocking Pacquiao out. I think a knockout is going to be more likely than anything. Ricky’s chances are very great at that.”
