Duddy returns to Madison Square Garden

Derry's John Duddy returns to Madison Square Garden for the first time tonight since seeing a world-title shot against Kelly Pavlik go up in flames after a terrible performance against Walid Smichet a year ago.

The New York-based middleweight is expected to remain aggressive in his bout with Matt Vanda.

Duddy's record stands at 25-and-0 going into the meeting, only his second fight under new handler Pat Burns.
