Loeb wins Rally Ireland by 87 seconds

Five-time world champion Sebastien Loeb successfully defended his Rally Ireland title yesterday.

The Frenchman finished the first event of the new WRC season 87 seconds clear of his Citroen team-mate Dani Sordo.

He had led the field ever since the fourth stage last Friday.
