Cork hurlers outline position

The striking Cork hurlers tonight said that they would only continue their stance as long as they held the support of the Cork people, and if they did not have that then they would disband.

In a news conference that lasted for an hour and a half, all 30 panel members attended, with 16 speaking to the assembled media about the dispute between them and manager Gerald McCarthy.
