Irish swimmer Barry Murphy broke two Irish records on the way to the 50m freestyle at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Croatia yesterday.

Representing the Irish team in their first final of the Championships, Murphy finished the Men's 50m freestyle final in eighth place overall.
