Bray boxer Katie Taylor has won the Irish Sports Council's Sportswoman of the Month award for November.

Bray boxer Katie Taylor has won the Irish Sports Council's Sportswoman of the Month award for November.

Taylor has been honoured after retaining her world lightweight title at the Women's World Championships in China.

The 22-year-old beat local favourite Cheng Dong 13-2 in the final.
