All-night celebrations as Olympic heroes return home

Celebrations have been taking place throughout the night for Ireland's Olympic medal winners following their heroic homecoming at Dublin Airport yesterday evening.

Ireland's Olympic athletes were greeted by hundreds of family, friends and fans at the airport.

The bulk of the attention was on the boxers, with Ken Egan, Darren Sutherland and Paddy Barnes all bringing home medals.

Around 1,000 people turned out in the Clondalkin area of Dublin as Egan showed off his silver medal to neighbours and friends.
