Cragg finishes disappointing eighth in 1,500m heat

Ireland's Alistair Cragg has bowed out of the 1,500m event at the Olympics after finishing well down the field in his heat today.

Cragg finished eighth in the heat in a time of 3:44.90.

Only the top-five finishers progress to the next stage.
