Several Irish athletes are in action on day four of the Beijing Olympics today.

The sailing pair of Ger Owens and Phil Lawton are looking to continue their winning ways in the 470 class this morning.

The pair won their race yesterday to go ninth in the overall standings.

Elsewhere, Ciara Peelo's set get her sailing campaign underway in the Laser category, while Eoin Reilisch is in action in the kayak single semi-finals and the Irish men's lightweight four are involved in rowing repechage action.

The Irish eventing team will also be in action after finishing up in eighth position overall yesterday, while swimmer Andrew Bree competes in the men’s 200 metres breast-stroke.

Bantamweight John Joe Nevin, meanwhile, will be looking to become the fifth Irish boxer to go through to the last-16 when he takes on Algerian Abdelhalim Ourradi.
