Good draw for Sutherland and Barnes

Two of the Irish boxers have been handed byes for the early rounds of the Olympic boxing events in Beijing.

Light-flyweight Paddy Barnes starts with a bye and can certainly be confident of reaching the medal stages.

Fancied middleweight Darren Sutherland takes on Nabil Kassel of Algeria in six days time.

Both fighters are now just two bouts away from taking a medal home from the games.
