Irish team unveiled for Beijing Olympics
The Irish team for next month's Olympic Games in Beijing has been officially unveiled in Dublin today.
Fifty-one Irish athletes will be competing in 12 sports.
Thirteen of them will be taking part in athletics events, including Fionnuala Britton, Jamie Costin, Martin Fagan, Colin Griffin, Paul Hession, Roisin McGettigan and Derval O'Rourke.
Elsewhere, eight Irish rowers will be in action in Beijing, along with five boxers, four cyclists, six sailors and six equestrian competitors.
Ireland will also have participants in badminton, canoeing, fencing, shooting, swimming and triathlon.
