Barnes gets a bye into final

Irish 2008 Olympian Paddy Barnes has received a bye into the 6th European Union Championships light flyweight final following this mornings draw at the Cetniewo Olympic Centre in Cetniewo, Poland.

The Holy Family ace will face either Hungary's Bedak Pal or Poland's Lukasz Maszyzyk in Saturdays 48Kg decider after just three boxers entered the 48kg division following English light flyweight Darren Langley's withdrawal because of a leg injury.
