Spanish Formula One drivers Fernando Alonso and Pedro De La Rosa offered tepid support to the sport’s new anti-racism initiative ahead of Sunday’s Grand Prix in Barcelona.

Motor racing’s world governing body, the FIA, launched the new scheme in Barcelona yesterday following racist abuse suffered by McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton at the Circuit de Catalunya in testing earlier this year.
