Nottinghamshire announce squad to face Ireland

Nottinghamshire have announced their squad for the Friends Provident Trophy clash with Ireland, which gets under way this Sunday, April 27 at Clontarf starting at 12pm.

The twelve named include no fewer than five internationals, with the most high profile being current England opening bowler Ryan Sidebottom, who starred for England during their recent Test series in New Zealand.

Former England players Chris Read and Mark Ealham won 15 and eight Test caps respectively, while Graeme Swann has played One Day International cricket.

The other international in their ranks is Australian all rounder Adam Voges, who has represented Australia in both their one-day and Twenty20 sides.

The game will be televised live on Sky Sports, and there will be a giant replay screen for the first time ever at an Irish ground at the match.

The Nottinghamshire squad in full is as follows:

Will Jefferson

Bilal Shafayat

Mark Wagh

Adam Voges

Samit Patel

Chris Read

Mark Ealham

Graeme Swann

Ryan Sidebottom

Charlie Shreck

Darren Pattinson

Matthew Wood

Tickets for the game are available from Ticketmaster or at the ground. Prices are as follows:

Adult ticket: €13.50 or £10

Junior €4 or £3 (free if accompanied by an adult)

Senior Citizens: €8 or £6

Family ticket One - 1 Adult, 2 kids €13.50 or £10

Family ticket Two- 2 adults, 2 kids €27.00 or £20

All tickets will be sold on a buy-one-get-one-free basis. In 2008, Ireland will host four home games (two in Dublin and two in Belfast) and therefore this will allow anybody buying a ticket to combine the two Dublin matches or the two Belfast matches under this offer. Patrons should keep hold of ticket from first match at that venue and present it at the same venue for next match.

There will be no public car parking at the ground on Sunday, but Killester Dart station is a short walk away.
