Three Irish boxers qualify for Olympics
It has been a brilliant day for Irish boxing in Athens with three boxers qualifying for this summer's Olympics.
Light-welterweight John Joe Joyce was the first to qualify with a semi-final win over Germany's Sipahi Harun.
He was joined by team captain Ken Egan - the Neilstown boxer beating Gottlieb Weiss of Germany in the light heavyweight division.
While Darren Sutherland will also be on the plane to Beijing - the middleweight winning his semi-final with Victor Cotiujanschii after the Moldovan retired with a facial injury in the third round.
