O'Sullivan not seeking Olympic qualification

Sonia O'Sullivan has confirmed that she will not be seeking Olympic qualification when she runs the Boston Marathon next month.

Some recent reports have claimed she was hoping to gain a place at a record fifth Olympic Games.

However, the Cobh woman says that has never been in her plans and she has no intention of going to Beijing just to make up the numbers.
