Hopkins vows to execute Calzaghe plan

Joe Calzaghe was told he “better be willing to die” by an intense Bernard Hopkins last night as the two fighters faced off in advance of their April 19 showdown in Las Vegas.

At a Times Square press conference to promote their light-middleweight fight at the Thomas and Mack Centre in a little over eight weeks, Ring Magazine light heavyweight champion ’The Executioner’ Hopkins was in a sombre mood as he addressed the media with a black hood over his head.
