Irish hockey stars eye Olympics after 8-0 win
Ireland's men's hockey team is on course to qualify for this year's Olympics following an 8-0 victory against United States in Auckland today.
Mark Gleghorne scoring four times, with Ronan Gormley, Andy Barbour, John Jermyn and Eugene Magee netting the other goals.
The top two nations in this week's qualifiers will go head-to-head for a place in the Beijing Olympics this summer.
Victory over Argentina on Friday would guarantee Ireland a place in the play-off.
