Darts body suspends Clark over conduct
Londoner Jason Clark has been suspended by the Professional Darts Corporation.
The PDC received a number of complaints over Clark’s conduct at their annual awards dinner, which took place at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Wednesday evening.
The Darts Regulation Authority have been asked to carry out an investigation.
PDC chairman Barry Hearn said: “It is always tough to take this course of action but the board of directors are committed to upholding the highest possible standards of conduct from our players.”
Clark, who lost to Raymond van Barneveld in the second round of the Ladbrokes.com World Championship, joined a select group back in December when he produced a magical nine-dart finish at the PartyPoker.net German Darts Championship.
