FIA call off McLaren hearing

Formula One’s governing body, the FIA, have drawn a line under the spying scandal that has rocked the sport this year by cancelling a hearing to investigate the design of McLaren’s 2008 challenger.

The decision to call off February’s meeting comes just five days after the UK-based team issued a public apology for their role in the saga.
