David McCarthy of West Waterford AC has finished ninth for Ireland in the Junior men's Race at the European Cross-Country Championships in Spain.

David McCarthy of West Waterford AC has finished ninth for Ireland in the Junior men's Race at the European Cross-Country Championships in Spain.

His fellow Waterford competitor Niall Tuohy finished 76th in the race.
