Peter Brady from the Holy Trinity club in Belfast has claimed the first title of the 2007 National Intermediate Championships after receiving a walkover against Declan Geraghty of the Docklands club.

Both boxers were due to meet in the light flyweight decider at the National Stadium tonight, but Geraghty has withdrawn suffering from a throat infection.

Twin brothers Graham and Gavin Keating have both weighed-in for tonight's featherweight decider.

The twins, from the St Saviours OBA club in Dublin, tipped the scales this morning and will meet in an

historic 57Kg bout at the home of Irish amateur boxing at around 8pm this evening.

Boxing will commence at 7.30pm this evening.
